You can also practice math facts in a variety of ways without using technology. Here are some easy ideas:
*Grab a deck of cards and play multiplication war! Each person flips a card, the first person to correctly multiply the value of each card together and say it out loud gets to keep the cards. When one player has no cards left, the game is over and the other player is the winner! This can be done for practicing adding/subtracting with younger students as well.
*Good old-fashioned...flashcards! If you don't have any, make some that go all the way to 12 x 12!
*Practice math facts with another family member! Take turns going through each level from multiplying by 1 all the way to multiplying by 12.
*Create a memory multiplication game (can be done for division, addition and subtraction as well). Take small slips of paper and write a basic multiplication fact on each one without writing the answer. On separate slips of paper, write each answer for each math fact you wrote on the other slips of paper. Then flip everything over and play memory with a partner. When you find the math fact and the correct answer, you get to keep the match. The person with the most matches at the end of the game wins!
